It is well known here that Judge lamella's sympathies are all in fa svor of the temperance movement, and if a sense trt duty compels liim'to pronounce the local op tion law unconstitutional, the opinion will be given conscientiously, and in opposition to his predilections on the subject. None of his friends will hold him in any less esteern, what ever may be his judicial opinion upon the sub ject.
