that is known of the pedigree* at trotting horses,
their anotatoriand deseendludi, with a record of
all published performances in which a mile was
trotted or paced in ,2:10 or less, from the earliest
dates till the doss et ISM end fall record of the
performances of 1060-10. giving complete aumrca-
Ides of over 6,000 contests. with an introductory a
ny on the trot origin of the American Trotter.
This is a good thing. False pedigreee axe quite , too
common. This work shuts out imposition in a great
degree. J. W. Wallace, the compiler of the "Amer
ican Stud nook and Trotter, " gives a better intelli
gent History of the Horse thn any other.
"TOWANDA" will be shown in harness to those
who think of patronizing him, between the home of
live and eight o'clock. a. m., on pleasant week days.
Ills style and fine trotting action when trained, will
surely make his own character. The closest *ern
tiny brings the 312111 to his true name: so it is with
all things on earth* - -
