LANDSCAPE ViEws.—The beautiful scenery in our own neighborhood has been I hitherto too much neglected by the artists --lack of railroad facilities may have been the chief cause—we treat that this.,cause will soon be obviated 'by the new lines of steam travel in course of completion— there will then be a perfect rush of tourists to our beautiful neighborhood. Mr. DCi_CGLISS, writing from Switzerland, says, in effect, that the scenery from TOwanda to Wilkes-Barre, is hilly equal in beauty and picturesque character, to auy thinfrhe has seen in that `romantic country, The Hon. We have been ledr to=these remarks by looking over a large and 'varied collection of Photographic and Stereoscopic views of the dwellings and scenery in our neighbor hood by Mr. on MORLY. We commend the enterprise and skill of the artist, and can honestly say that these pictures are all excellent—the inevitable resu'lt follows that orders areccoming thick and fast upon him.
