Ayer's Sarsaparilla.
A COMPOUND REMEDY, in which we
have labored to produce the most effectual altera
ive that can l>e made. It is a .concentrated extract of
Para Sarsaparilla, so combined with other substances ut
•till greater alterat've power as to afford an effective an
tidote tor the diseases Sa-saparilla is reputed to cure, it
is believed that such a remedy is wanteJ by those wno
Buffer from Strumous complaints, and that one wluc.i w .1!
accomplish their cure must prove of immense service to
this large class of our afflicted fellow citizens. How com
pletely this compound will do it has been proven, bt cx
perinent on many of the worst cases to be foutsu ot tlie
following complaints:— _
SCROFULA AND ScKOFrt.ors COMPLAINTS, S
AND ERUPTIVE DISEASES, ULCERS. 1I MRL ES, LOTCUL ?
TMORS. SALT RHEUM, SCALD HE\P, SYPUILLS AND
SYPHILITIC AFFECTIONS,MERCURIAL DISEASE, DKOF.-.Y,
NEURALGIA OK TIC DOULOUREUX. DEBILITY. DYSPEPSIA
AND INDIGESTION, ERYSIPELAS, ROSE OR ST. ANTHON Y S
FIRE, and indeed the whole class ot complaints arising
from'IMPURITY OF THE BLOOD.
This compound will be found a great promoter of
health, when taken in the spring, to expel the foul hu
mors which fester in the blood at that season ot the year
By the timely expulsion of tliem many rankliug disor
ders are nipped in the bud. Multitudes can by the aid
of this remedy, spare themselves from the endurance of
foul eruptions and ulcerous sores, through wo'cu tne
system will strive to rid itself of corruptions, it not as
sisted to do this through the natural channels of tnc
body by an alterative medicine. Cleans..- out the vi
blood whenever you find its impurities btu -i.ug 1 >
the skin in pimples, eruptions or sores : cleanse n.ween
you find it is obstructed and sluggish in Hie y*- - ?,
cleanse it whenever it. is foul, and your feelings will ted
you when. Even where no particular disorder m teit,
people enjoy better health, and live longer, -or cleansing
the olood. Keep the blood healthy, and all is well ; but
with this pabulum of lite disordered, there can be no
lasting health. Sooner <<r later something must go
wrong, and the great machinery of iile is disordered oi
overthrown. ... . ..
Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, the reputation,
of accomplishing these cuds. Cut the worid has been
cgregior.dy deceived by pi oparat .mis ot it. partly becaiu-e
the drug alone has not all the virtue t ii.it is churned ;oi
it, but more because many preparati- us. pretending to be
concentrated extracts ot it. contain but iittie of tuc \ it
tue of Sarsaparilla, or any thing else.
During late years the public have been misled by large
oottles, pretending to give a quart ot Extract ot
parilla for one dollar. Most ot these have been frauds
upon the si k. for'they nut only contain i i' tie, it any,
Sarsaparilla, but olten no cuiative properties whatever.
Hence, bitter andpainiul (disappointmeiit has followed
the use of the various extracts ni r'.arapardla whir i
flood the market, until the name it it is justiy >.h piscd,
and has become svuon vinous i\ith iiujiositioii and • hen*.
Still we call this compound Sarsaparilla, anil intend to
supply such a remedy as shah rescue the name "''in tec
load of obloquy which rests upoh it. And we taint we
have ground for believing it lias virtues winch aic ir
resistablc by the ordinary run of the diseases it is intend
ed tocruc. In order to secure their complete eradica
tion from the system, the remedy should be judiciously
taken according to directions on the bottic.

Celebrated TSireshing Machines,
EMERY'S ONE AND TWO HORSE POWERS, are
too well and popularly known to need any description
from me, and I will only say that they continue to de
serve the reputation they have enjoyed for ten years ol
being the " best Endless Chain Horse Power in use."
These Powers possess conveniences aud advantages pos
sessed by no other power.
EMERY'S NEW PATENT
THRESHER AND CLEANER
This a new Machine, and has not before been intro
duced into this region. It has no endless chain straw
carrier, but separates all kinds of grain thoroughly from
the straw, by a combination of Pitts' Endless Canvass
Celled Apron, a new Improved Revolving Picker, and
the well known Vibrating Riddle. It is a simple, durable
and efficient Machine, will thresh rapidly and clean thor
oughly, without wasting, all kinds of grain. It will not
choke, run easily and steadily, without, jumping, and i>
warranted to be superior to the common Rake Cleanei
now in use. It remains only to lie seen and tested, to be"
pronounced by every experienced hand at threshing, to
be an admirably contrived and constructed Thresher and
Cleaner.
EMERY'S IMPROVED THRESHERS & SEPARATERS
