A COMPOUND REMEDY, designed to be the most ef

I centra ted extract of Para Sarsaparilla, so combined with
other substances of still greater alterative power as to i
1 afford an effective antidote lor the diseases Saioaparilla is |
reputed to cure. It is believed that such a remedy is
wanted by those who suffer from Strumous complaints,
and that one which will accomplish their cure must prove ]
ot immense service to this large class of our afflicted lel

This compound will be found a great promoter of
health, when taken in tlie spring, to expel the foul hu
mors wnich fester in the blood at that season of the year.
By the timely expulsion of them many rankling disor
ders are nipped in the hud. Multitudes can, by the aid j
ol this remedy, spare themselves from the endurance ot ;
eruptions and ulcerous sores, through which the system !
will strive to rid itself of corruptions, if not assisted to j
do this through the natural channels of the body by an |
alterative medicine. Ulfeanse out the vitiated blood i

Keep the blood healthy, and all is well; but with this
pabulum of life disordered, there can be no lasting health, j
Sooner or later something must go wrong, and the grca i
machinery of life is disordered or overthrown.
Sarsaparilla lias, and deserves much, the reputation of
accomplishing these ends. But the world has been egre
giously deceived by preparations of it, partly because
j the drug alone has not all the virtue that is claimed for
| it. but more because many preparations, pretending to |
j be concentrated extracts of it, contain but little of the |
virtue of Sarsaparilla, or anything else.
During late years the public have liecn misled by large
I bottles, pretending to give a quart of Extract of Sarsa
! parilla lor one uollar. Most of these have been frauds
I upon the sick, for they not only contain little, if any
| Sarsaparilla, but often no curative properties whatever.
| Hence, bitter and painful disappointment lias lollowed
I the use of the various extracts of Sarsaparilla which
i flood the market, until the name itself is justly de
j spiscd, an;l has become synonymous with imposition and
! cheat. Stiil we call this compound Ssrsaparillo, and in
! tend to supply such a remedy as shall rescue the name
; from the load of obloquy whidh rests upon it. And we i
j think wc have ground lor believing it lias virtues which j
j are irresistible by the ordinary ran of the disease* it is I
j intended to cure. In order to sec ufe their complete
i eradication from the system, the remedy should be judi
ciously taken according to directions on the bottle.

Has won for itself such a renown lor the cure of every
variety of Throat and Lung Complaint, that it is entire- i

' been in constant use throughout this section, we reeu ,
; not <lo more than assure the people its quality is kept up
to the best it ever has been, and that it may "lie relied en •
| to do for their relief all it has ever been found to do.
