experience and close observation cau enable us to select,)
complete in its adaption to the wants of the people of
this region.
Domestic Goods we have in all their variety of style,
quality aud articles, such as Brown Sheetings, Shirtiiigs
Drillings, Denims, Tickings, Stripes and Checks. Goods'
for Men's Summer Clothes from 64 to 124 cents per yard,
(our customers say that the 04 prints are generally fast
colors, trying proves them to be so.) Ginghams, Bleached
Goods, 5-4 Pillow Cases, Cotton 8-4 aud 10-4, Bleached
and Brown Sheetings, Flannels, Linseys, Towelings Ta
ble Diapers, 4c., 4c.
Among our Dress Goods may be found DeLaines both
common and all wool, l'araiuetas, Merinoes, Alapacaa,
Debeges, Rich Mohaire, Lawns. Challis, French Prints
and Muslin, French and Scotch Ginghams, Ac., with a
full stock of Black and Fancy Dress Silks, we have some
beautiful pieces of plain colors now in store.

Among furnishing Goods we have Prints, Moreens,
Damask, Brocaletts, Table and Piano Covers, 4c.

A good stock of Woolen Cloth, some very tine speci
mens of Black Cloths and Doeskins, Vestings in Velvet,
Satin, Grenadire, Figured Silk, Worsted and Marsailes.
In Crockery we have a line stock of China, Ironstone,
China Common and Stone Ware, a good assortment of
Glass Ware.
The Groceries we keep are Sugars, Molasses and Syr
ups, Coffee. Spices. Pepper and Teas, of which we have
some of the best in market and sell at 50 cents per lb.
Of Carpetings we have a full stock of all grades to be
found in Cotton, Cotton and Wool, Ingrain, Threeply and
Brussels Carpets, also 3-4, 4-4, 5-4, 6-4 and S-4 Floor and
Oil Cloths and Mattings.
To this part of our trade we would at this time call
special attention, believing we can and do offer induce
ments to purchasers of these goods not equalled else
where.
We have a good stock of Dress and Coat Trimmings,
Hoisery, Yankee Notions, Ac.
Our stock of Millinery Goods is made np with special
reference to the wants of Milliners and the trade, to this
the attention ot Milliners is solicited, Bonnet Frames,
Bonnet Blocks, Borders, Joined Blondes, Band-boxes, and
Common Flowers, we engage to sell as low as any jobber
in New York City. Bonnets, Silks, Crapes, Ribbons,!
Tarletans, Laces, French Flowers, Ae., we sell at prices |
which will compare favorable with theirs. Every word 1
ot this we hold ourselves ready to prove true.
We deal extensively in Clover and Timothy Seeds. I
In regard to the manner in which we conduct our busi
ness, we would say that we buy our Goods in large quan
tities, for CASH, or ou such terms as shall bring the
Goods to the lowest prices here. Many leading articles
we got directly from the manufacturer or importer, ever
keeping in mind the fact that Goods well bought are
more than halt sold. We sell Goods for CASH at a very
sniall advance, believing that a nimble three cents is bet
ter than a slow dime.
Ours is a permanent business and we would have its
growth healthy, we desire that it should gain nothing
that it cannot keep, therefore it shall be our aim so to
conduct it that those persons who deal with us once shall
shall be satisfied aud willing to come and see us again.

All that tract of land situate in the township of Rome,
in said county, bounded and described as follows : The
