Are much improved over the Albany machines, and work
admirably. Our new

It runs easily, is simple, strung, light and durable; will
not carry over, nor waste grain : and will thresh and
clean lit lor ma-kct as much grain per day, with the same
power, as any Thresher with Separator will thresh.
It is admirably adapted lor two ami lour horse powers.
Job threshers will find it to be just tbe machine they have
so long desired to find.
Our Horse Powers and Threshers are, to say the least
equal to any made in the Union ; so that farmers <n Sou
thern New-York ami Northern Pennsylvania, will find it
to their advantage to buy our Machines, on account of
sav iug heavy expense in tgeights, as well as for their su
periority.
We invite the particular attention of Farmers and Deal

TIOGA-POINT FEED CUTTERS, GALE'S PATENT-
M c can with confidence, recommend these Hay, Straw
ami stalk Cutters on account of simplicity, durability
strength, efficient v, ease of operation, rapid* cutting, Ac!
1 hey do away with the very serious objections heretofore
urged by farmers and others, and justly to*, against ail
patented feed cutters ; namely—that they are too com
plicated. t >o many -null casting* and traps, consequent
ly too liable to get oat of repair ;-that they Lave too
many wearing or friction places, therefore hard to operate.
( lur 1- eed Cutters have two simple straight knives which
can easily be sharpened, or. if ever necessary, can be
made by any blacksmith. All are warranted to give sat
isfaction. Ask your merchant to order one for yu. and
send lor our CATALOULE, which contains additional in

Philadelphia, on the Camden ami Atlantic railroad, New
Jersey. All old estate has recently been opened for sale,

terms are made ea-y, in order to insure the rapid im

to buy afai-m. It is now being extend!vi ly improved hv
good i".. Is, and sonic of the best citizens trom New Eng
land and the Middle Slates are erecting large improve*
ments. It is a s.ceuc ot the greatest improvement out of
Philadelphia. Seventy five houses have been built iu four
limiiihs. I'r.icticai farmer- and liu.-ine.-s men trom the
l-ngtli and breadth of the Union are -ettliug there, it
is an important business phn e. on account of it- being
in the midst of a great market. / Every article raised up
on this find finds an immediate sale." The water is ex
cellent, a id uu such thing as fever is known.
Tile soil is a sandy or clay loam, with a clay bottom
and r*/entire of manures. It is free of stones and easily
ivorki d. It abounds largely in the phosphate*, and such
is its fertility that from the crop- produced both upon
this land and the large area adjoining under cultivation,
it will be found not to be excelled anywhere in the pro
duction of crops most adapted to its market.
The reader may be well aware that the earliest and the
best fruits and vegetables come from Xew Jersey, which
are annually exported to the amount of millions of dol
lars. The land, besides being accessible iu every way for
fertilizers, has an abundant supply of the liest quality of
muck iuauure.
Lumber and building materials can be had on the spot
at a cheap price, from the mills. Other mills art now
being opened, and bri kvards being started on the ground.
A person can put up a frame tenement for present con
venience for one hundred dollars. On account of the ex
tensive emigration, this is the U-.-t cuur-c to in order to
get a place to live in at first. Carpenters and builders
are on hand to put up houses on the be-t terms.
In settling here the emigrant has many advantages.—
He is within a few hours' ride of the great cities iu the
Middle States and Xew England : he is near his old friends
and associations ; he is iu a settled country, where every
improvement ami coiufort of civilization is at hand; lie
is in a healthy place, and i- not subject to the certainty
ot 10-ing the greater part of his family and his own health
by those malignant fevers which make the graves of so
many millions of the young and hardy iu far off regions
away from home and friends. Be.-ides, he has a mild
climate and an open winter.
There are three trains daily to Philadelphia, and to all
those who improve the railroad company gives a free
ticket.
The reader will at once he struck with the advantages
here presented, and ask himself why the property lias not
been taken up before. The reason is, it was never thrown
in the market : and nules- these statements were correct
