DR. HALSEY'S FOREST WINE!
PA TRONIZED by the nobility and Medical Fac
ulty of England, and esteemed the most extra
oidinary medicine in t!io world.
Medicim-a containing molasses or liquorice, like
the bonded Sarsaparillas, require many large bottle:
to produce t!ie slightest change in health. The
FOREST WINE is altogether a different article
It contains no syrups to give it consistency, but ac
quit es its excellent llavor, and powerful medicine
properties from the vegetable plants of which it i. v
composed. The Forest Wine combines the virtues
of the
Wild Cherry, Dandelion, Yellow Tech
and Sarsaparilla!
with other valuable plants whose properties ate
still more effective.
Its high concentration renders it one of the mo,
efficient medicines now in use. Sometimes lest
than a sing'c bottle restores the lingering patien
from weakness, dcbili'v, and sickness, to strong ani
vigorous health. Every dose shows its good effect
on the constitution, and improves the state of the
health. The Forest Wine is recommended, in thi
strongest terms, for all complaints of the Stomach
Liver, Kidneys, Nervous Disorders, Bilious Affic
lions, Dropsy, Dyspepsia, Loss of Appetite, Jaun
dice, Female Complaints, Scrofula, and all Disor
ders arising from BAD BLOOD and impure habit o
the system.
SAVED FROM DEATH !
Testimony of Mr. Nathan Mathews, a highly respect•
able and wealthy citizen af Newark, N J
DR. G. W. HALSF.Y : —I believe your Fores
Wine and Fills have been the means of saving nij
life. When I commenced taking them I laid at tin
point of death, with Dropsy, Files, anil Asthma.—
My physicians had given me over as past cure, an<
my family had lost all hopes of my recovery.—
While in this d'eadful situation, your Forest Win<
and Fills were procured for me, and before 1 hai
finished the first bottle of the Wine and hex of Pills
I experienced great relief; my body and limbs
which were greatly swollen, became sensibly reJu
ccd. Hopes of my recovery began now to revive
and after continuing the use of your medicines fo
about a month, the Piles and Asthma were com
plelely cured. The Dropsy, with which my lif
was placed in such great danger, was also near!
gone. I have continued the use of your medicine
until the present time, and I now enjoy as perfee
health as ever I did in my life, although I am mor
i than sixty years of age. Yours, respectfully.

NEW YORK, Jan. 9th, 18 IS.
DR. lIALSE Y —Dear Sir:—Having taken you

the directions which accompany the medicines,
l have icrovered mv health notwithstanding ill wh
■ knew me thought my case incurable. Previous t
I taking the Wine and Fills, I had recourse to th
i best medical treatment, but continued to grow wors
to an alarming degree. Some of my friends spok
despairingly of my case, and tried to persuade m
from making use of any advertised remedies ; arid
I doubt not, but what there are hundreds who ar
! dissuaded from taking your excellent medicines, ii
consequence of the deception and inefficiency o
many advertised remedies put forth by unprinciplei
men, in flaming advertisements. But, what a pit
1 it is, that the deception used by others, should L
the means of dissuading many laboring under dis
ease, from making trial and being cured by you
excellent remedies. Humanly speaking, they havt
saved my life; when I commenced making use o
them, I was in a wretched condition, but began t
experience their good effects in less than three davs
and in six weeks from the time I purchased th
! medicines, to the great surprise of all my friends,
was entirely cured, and had increased fitteen pound
