Early last fall, f citntracted a. violent- cold, and in

rer. pains in my right breast and shoulder blade; with

kind and sympathising neighbors, who had come to
witness my depariona from this world.
When all rays of hope had fled of-my recovery. a
neighbor. Mr. Da% id Conrad, proposed to try Sehenck's
Pulmortic Syrup, with a view of loosening my cough
and relieving nut of the tough phlegm, and as a means
of lauding temporary relief. remarking at the time,
-• that I was too fir gone for the Syrup to Le •of :thy
permanent hetirlit:' My wife. anxious for tlfu relict
of toy intense sulfairsgs, procured 501110 Of the PUI
- Syrup. 1 found it anordetl me relief, and con
tinued using it. I could feel• its healing influence
upon my lungs.
I continue to impwive under its me, and my friends
were-much gratifi,ll to witness my unexpected im
provement ; many of my tietghbors came to look atone
as one raise 1.1 from the dead.
My cough now became loose, and I felt something
break, w cu I had the pain in my Memel, and .I tbs.
charged large quantities of yellow matter. I have for
weeks discharged end raised a Filit box full of matter
every day, with hard lumps like grains of something.
My hoods now became regular and mien!, and my
appetite was so far improved, that I could scarcely re
frain from eating too much. My strength in:proved,
and I regained my flesh.
I continued to improve in every re• - psct soon after I
commenced using the Syrup, and the improvement
continued until] was restored to my health. I .have
passed through the inclement weat h er of the latter
