with that truly terrible disease. the Riles, and after
trying in vain several othey remedies,l was induced
by E. D. Montanye, your agent at our place, to try
your-Pills. I found immediate relief in the use of
them. On the first Occasion, I was in a very bad
situation for several Weeks, but after taking two
boxes of your Pills, was entirely well. The last
occasion was a Mere attack, and after three doses,
viz : two first, three second, and three “he third
time, every symptom was removed.
You are at liberty to make any proper use of this
for the benefit of the public or yourself, making any
alterations you please in form but not in substance.

SAVINGS BANK.
• NEW OFFICERS ELECTED.
AT an annual meeting of the directors of the "
wands Savings Bank," C. & E. REED were
elected.in place of G. E. Flynt & whose term
expired May 4st, 1847. It is the intention of the new
Cashiers & Co., to sustain the credit of the institution
by " putting goods low down " to pay up customers.—
We therefore invite our old customers and the public
generally to cull and evamioe our 'mock of Now 000 l
- heap Goods, just received, and convince themselves
of the truth of the old adage, that " Goods have, can,
and shall be sold cheapet at the Savings Bank than at
any other establishment in Towanda. No. 5. B. R.
