trouble," but in the light Of such warnings
as Drs. Copeland, Hall and Byors are con
stantly giving they have only themselves to
blame for their procrastination.
Alarming Symptoms and Often Incurable
Stage.
Every physician experienced in treating
throat and lung troubles knows that if these
symptoms are not speedily relieved others
more alarming soon follow, the emaciation
will progress, the patient become pale and
debilitated, the chest lose its power of ex
pansion or contraction, the collar-bone, ribs
and bones of tho shoulder joint become
prominent, the night sweats profuse and
weakening, the stomach symptoms distress
ing, the congh persistent and harassing,
the mucus purulent and streaked with
blood, the voice husky, and death soon in
tervenes to relieve the sufferer.
The abovo description of the origin, pro
gress and fatal termination of the aveiage
case of consumption Is what Drs. Copeland,
Hall and Byers come in contact with almost
every day. The personal history in such
cases is that the disease started with a
slight catarrhal affection or from the la
grippe, which was neglected because not
very serious or annoying till it had fastened
itself upon the patient with such a grasp
that It was impossible to relieve. Ir such
cases were treated judiciously and system
atically at the start they could all bo cured.
ANOTHER GREAT CURE.
The Case of Mr. William Foster, of Butler,
So Weak He Could Scarcely Get to Drs.
Copeland, Hall and Byers' Office In One
Month He Gained Seven Founds and
Worked AH Day Without Tiring.
Mr. William Foster, employod in the
planing mill of Messrs. S. G. Purvis & Co.,
and residing on Cleveland street, Butler,
sajs:
"I had been troubled with my head, throat
and stomach for two years previous to con
sulting Drs. Copeland, Hall and Byers. I
had all the usual catarrhal symptoms of head
and throat such as dull, heavy reeling over
eyes and through temples, ologging up of
nostrils first ono sido then tho other, drop
ping of mucus into the throat, with hawk
ing and spitting. My throat became dry
and raw, tongue coated and parched, with
with bad taste in the mouth in the morning,
loss or appetite, especially for breakfast,
and what little I forced myself to eat ciiised
distress and bloating up afterward. I lost
flesh and strength lisht along.
"Finally night sweats set in, which weak
ened me greatly, and alarmed me so I folt
something more would have to be done for
me than was being dono or I would have to
