It was the occasion of the laying of the corner stone of the new hall of the Southsidc Turn Vcrein, on Thirteenth street, between Caron and Sarah streets. The streets and buildings of the Southside were gayly decorated, and the greatest interest Tias manifested in the exercises. At 2:30 o'clock the parade that preceded the formal proceedings, was organised at the head of Thirteenth street aud marched to Twenty-seventh street and back. It was composed of about 600 men and presented an attractive appearance The Chief Marshall was Charles E. Suc cop; Adjutant, John Arras; Chief of Staff, "William Eulandt, with -10 aides. Then fol lowed the Germania Band, the Building Committee in carriages, the Allegheny Turners, CO men- the Heaver Falls Turners .10 men.
