and Butler lot wells, will not get the Cordon
before Saturday night. The Koyal Gas Com
pany is fishing for a bit on top of the eand
in its No. 8 Ed McDonald. Unknown parties
have built a rip on the Hutchinson farm, one
roilo north of Midway, and a rig i up on tho
Elliott farm, a mile north ot the Sautcrs
farm.
Tho Corner Well Small.
Wildwood Ireland & nuchas' well, on the
Corner farm, will probably make 25 or SO
barrels a day. Thej wero still drilling at it
yesterday, but it has not improved from tho
start off. Hart Bros, shot their No. 2, on tho
Hancock farm, in the southeast, yesterday.

Oil Companv, on tho Dunlap farm, is down
1,600 feet. The Smith farm Oil Company's
well on the Ather farm, northeast of Wild
wood station, is 20 icet in the sand, and has
struck an extraordinary heavy pressure of

Widow McOoliii farm, northeast of Semple
6tation. Griffith and the Forest Oil Com
pany's No. 10 on the Whitesoll lurm is pick
ing up every hour, and yesterday after
noon was flowing at tho rate of 300

on tho Fisher tarm, nortu of the

feet south of the well on the Bubb. Un

Delano Station The old midnight mys
tery or Xo. l,on the Cypher farm, of tho
Empire Oil and Gas Company, has been
pulled out. Their Xo. 3, on the Saner farm,
is down COO feet. It is 603 feet east of their
No. 2, which is making 2 barrels a day. Other
parties nro preparing to drill in this locality
to thoroughly test the territory.
A Royalty Sold.
The royalty for tho Marshall farm at Thorn
creek, on which is located the celebrated
Armstrong well, was soldat auction in Pitts
burg yestrday by tho trustees of the Mar
shall estate for jHoOO. There are 350 acres
in tho farm, and a royalty of 440 barrels a
month. Tho purchasers are supposed to be
the trustee ol the estate. Mho are settling
up the alfaiis of the estate.
