D. 1SS7; respectfully report, That having been first duly sworn and quali fied according to law, tbey proceeded in the manner and according to tbe directions of said act to discharge the duties of their appoint ment; that, having viewed tbe premises, they made an assessment of said cost and expenses upon tne property Denentea, ana 'caused a plot aud statement to be made, as required by said act: and, having given to the owner of each lot 10 days' notice of the time and place of meet ing, tbey met on the 9th day of May, A.
