grading, paving and curbing of South
Twenty-eighth street, from East Carson street
to Jane street, in the Twenty-fourth ward of
Pittsburg.
Whereas, It appears by the petition and
affidavit on file in the office of the Clerk of
Councils, that one-third in interest of the
owners of property fronting and abutting upon
the said street, have petitioned the Councils
of said city to enact an ordinance for the grad
ing, paving and curbing of tbe same; therefore.
Section 1 Be it ordained and enacted by the
city of Pittsburg, in Select and Common Coun
cils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and
enacted by the authority of the same. That
the Chief of the Department of Public Works
be and is hereby authorized and directed to ad
vertise in accordance with the acts of Assem
bly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and
the ordinances of the said city of Pittsburg re
lating thereto and regulating the same, for pro-4
