training in aircraft identification
and recognition, a close study of the
mechanism of the 30 and 50 calibre,
machine guns, instruction in meth-
odds of estimating the speed and dis-
tance of a plane, rifle and machine
gun practice on ground ranges,
training in the operation of modern

has been saving the odd pennies
collected along his milk route, and
last week, upon learning that local
banks were short of pennies, he op-
ened up the large box in which he
had been saving the coins, counted
them, wrapped them in 25-.cent rolls
and brought them in to the Farmers’
National bank to be put back into
circulation. It was a sizeable con-
