Mid-Summer's Activities in Beautiful

Without exception, the people of our beautiful Brush Valley,
Just know how. in war time, around to rally
Everyone perfectly willing to do his part
With all the strength in his honest heart
As good crops, the Hand of Providence gave,
The farmers, early and late, worked hard and brave
8o our beautiiul valley has not a slacker,
But everyone is an up-to-date cracker
Every person should sce, the encouraging grin
Our farmers proudly wear, the war to win
A sweet honest grin in the face, speaks cheer,
In this troubled, short or long, earthly career
As this beautiful Brush Valley, is outstanding,
80 all its people, know of no outflanking
The unexhausted human genius, in the background,
When used, is fully efficient, {o protect all around
Our dear neighbor valleys, are same in mind,
And all well know, they are not behind
If needed, we can put them under our wing,
And safely, to Eternal Lifo's 8hore, bring
The pre-wir social cheer, still the same,
80 about all, are in the same frame
Over some homes hang the dar; war-cloud,
Hoping ail boys will safely return, patriotic proud
The usual beautiful flowers, at the homes,
Are attractive gs ever: not one shows moans
The beautiful colors, new smiles should create,
Smiles of purity, makes people's influence great
The officials and all business people, are active,
Seldom exceed speed limit, unless to make hunger relaxitive
However, business is business, even at hunger's expense,
Even if hunger, at times, is a big pretense.
All wild animals, except deer, are plentiful,
Each one’s fur is attractive and beautiful
Their dress covers, not part, but entire body,
Which makes them, in appearance, not nodey,
Let the young people have up-to-date fun,
Bo did our old people, when able to run.
Bome old people forget their joy of old tricks,
Which tricks, often on the body, made visible nicks.
Yes, huckleberries, the mountaing hold in their lap,
For every person to pick, but not to take a long nap.
Many berries are picked, but just here and there
But sure, not all people know just where.
Not all cars say: hunk hunk, putt, punk, punk,
! What a big bandful of no hunk, hunk, but flunk,
i All say no one to blame, But that man Hitler,
