Perhaps some of you have won-
dered just how heavy Sunday's snow
fall was pounds. A iv Ridge
resident who operates a truck scales
found out himself. After Sun-
day's wd ceased he
the scale found more
inches of snow on the
form, which measures about 12 bs
20 feet in size. Stepping in
scale house he weighed the snow on
the platform, and was amazed when
he read the results 1500 pounds!
With no thought of
youngsters’ fun we feel it worth
while to mention here that the in-
discriminate throwing of snowballs
by youngsters and some grownups
is quite a dangerous past-time. Snow
balling is fun, if you're watching the
person who is throwing them and
are able to sidestep the missles. But
when you're not expecting them,
snowballs are dangerous weapons
A blow on the neck, in the face, or
about the eyes can cause serious re-
sults
