Saun- ders, of Juniata, died at her home Wednesday afternoon, July 23, 1941, after a brief illness. Born at Spruce- town, Centre county, she was the daughter of Willlam W. and Sara (Rankin) Royer, Members of the family include her husband, one son, Clarence W. of Massillon, O; one sister, Mrs. Christie J. Smith, East Bishop street, Bellefonte Saunders was a member of the First Methodist church of Juniata and the Emanuel Bible class, Fu- neral services were held Saturday in Juniata and Interment made in Jrandview cemetery . D. dled Wed- nesday night, July 23, 1941, at 8:45 o'clock at the Centre County Home of complications following a (WO years illness. Suffering with a heart ailment he had been admitted to the home less than a week before his death. Born August 23, 1871, in Curtin township, he was the son of the late Burdine and Elizabeth Bodle Butler. His second wife, the former Virginia Young, and the following children survive: Mrs Ward Yeager, Mrs. Elmer Yeager, Mrs. Warren Heverly, all of How- ard. R. Mr. Watson was a former employe of the Lehigh Coal Company of Snow Shoe and a re- tired meat cutter of the Shaffer Stores Company of Altoona, Born in Snow Shoe May 25, 1873, he was the son of Mitchell and Susan Marks Watson, He served as an em- ploye of the Lehigh Coal Company until 1926 in Snow Shoe, going to Altoona that year to serve as a butcher for the Shafler Stores Com- pany. He retired three years ago from service of the Shaffer Com- pany.
