To 3 cuts mashed potatoes add
'* cup chopped and well-dried
watercress. Pile on halved or thick-
ly sliced tomatoes ani brush with
melted butter. Bake in an oven 400
degrees for 10 minutes
Fried Polaloes
To 2 cups of seasoned. mashed
potatoes, add 1 tablespoon of celery
seed. Shape into strips 3 inches
long and 1 inch wide Dip into
slightly beaten eggs, then roll in
crushed cereal flakes. Fry in deep
hot fat until brown. Drain on ab-
sorbent paper.
