with a sheet of glass from rain
which had fallen during the night
and which froze as it struck the
ground. Mr. Sweitzer [fell over
backwards, siriking the back of his
head sharply against the walk, the
blow rendering his unconscious for
five or ten minutes. He wag taken
to the office of a physician who
found a severe bruise and small lac-
eration at the back of the head in
additicn to bruises of one shoulder
and leg. Although Mr. Swellizer
reposted for work at the Court
House he suffered considerably and
went home before noon. Since then
hig recovery has been rapid.
