Grange Hall next week, according to
Mrs. Carl Ifverson, county librarian
Progress Grange, co-sponsor with
the Woman's Club, has renovated the
room, painting the walls cream, the
w york white, and staining the
recently added shelving mahogany
Miss Jane Spyker, who is to be in
charge of the library is being trained
by Mrs. Ifvetson ih the County Li-
hraly thig week

ing, two afternoons, and one evening

FINE LOCAL SCOUTS
ATTEND WOLI-GA-ZU
Fivé scouts of the' Centre Hall
troop took part in the fall weekend
program for Juniata Valley Council
known as the Wali-Ga-Zu
Over 350 scouts gathered at the
Sevep Mountains Scout Camp last
Friday afternoon. The group held a
camp fire program Priday evening
and scouting contests the following
forenoon: The boys did patrol cook-
ing for the three meals while in
camp. :
Saturday afternoon the Scouts at-
tended the Penn State vs. Bucknell
football game as guests of the Col-
lege. William Boozer, Jr., Edwin
Crawford, William Daup, William
Reese, and Ardell Gross, took part in
Saturday's program. Paul Brad-
ford Jr., was at camp Friday, but
was ynable to go om Saturday be-
causévo! i{liness:
Daniel 8. Daup, Committeeman,
and Ernest Wagner. Scoutmaster, ac-
companied the scouts as drivers Sat-
urday afternoon.
