Day, of | Howard, R. D., was admitted to the hospital, Saturday, to undergo treatment for severe burns about the left leg. The youth and a companion had gone fishing near their home, and on their outing they came across a can, partly filled with a liquid. They applied & match to the liquid to de- | termine whether or not it would burn. An explosion followed, the flames causing severe burns to Day's leg.
