three years, thieves threw a stone
through one of the windows of the
H. 8. Shomberg Jewelry store on
East College avenue, State College
at 3 o'tlork Monday morning and
escaped with articles valued at ap-
proximately $450
It is thought the robbery took
piace ghortly before itv was discov-
ered when several Qollege students
passed the building, The stone used
by the robbers to break the window
was found on the display lodge,
Included in the loot were 10 rings,
four watches, bracelets, compacts
and a small purse-watch.
