If you pick up almost any enterpris
ing weekly you will find the sermons of
Dr, Charles T. Russel, pastor of the
Brooklyn Tabernacle. They aregaining
in popularity right along, and are read
by several hundred thousands of people,
and by some of the best thinkers of the
age who are well pleased with them,
both as to the doctorinal teachings and
eloquence of expression, They are found
each week in the Centre Democrat
which, we are pleased to say, are giving
satisfaction, Fhe aim of the Centre
Democrat is to give its readers the best
that's going, and these sermons are
counted among the best, at least, no
son with brains and intelligence has
ound fault with them,

us. We think he is deserving of one of
Carnegie's gold medals becanse he has
been a reader and subscriber of the
Centre Democrat for twenty-eight years,
which is certainly a record of which he
can feel proud We hope he may live to
read it until he winds up the century
He is always a welcome visitor
