He was born in Bellefonte, January 12,1868, In 1886 was graduated from the Bellefonte High school. Spent two years, from 1890-92 at Penna. State College, entered the law offices of Orris Bower & Orvis at once as a law student and in 1594 was admitted to the practice of law.
