—Onn evening last week a party of
Bellefonle young iadie* and gentlemen
drove over to Centre Hall for supper,
whicb had been previously engaged, nnd to
do ample Justice to which they for over a
week had bsa-n making preparations. They
were delayed some in atarting and reached
Centre Hail quite a while after the time
•peeiAed, and their coming was despaired
of by the landlord, who not to suffer any
pecuniary Isswa, disposed of the supper to
another party, whose revel* were distorbed
and enthusiasm dampened by the advent
of the Arst. The only thing remarkable
about th whole occurrence we* the disap
pearance of articlea of clothing strictly
fHiuiiiine in their nature—such a* hand ker
chiefs, bang-net#, etcetera. In order to
