j SPRING TRADE
We have given very clone and
careful attention to the select ion of
goodn for the Spring Trade, and
feel justified in saying that our
present Stork cannot he excelled
either in regard to Variety, (Quali
ty or I'rice, and ire doubt if it is
equaled in either of these resj, erts i
by any house in Centre county.
7here are too many leading ar
ticle* in our stork to make special
mention of them all, but call atten
tion directly to a few items that are
now being sought after every day.
FIS H .
Mackerel are of goeul quality this
season and are selling rather faster
than usual at this season of the
year. We have been telling noth
ing but full weights —so lb*. offish
in each quarter barrel and 10() Ib*.
in each half burr eh They hare
j better value fad the money than
shoii iceiglds.
Jsike Herring and White Fish
are very fine this season and tell
ing freely.
MEATS.
Our Sugar-(hired llams. Dried
Beef, Breakfast Bacon and Cheese
arc all worthy of special mention.
F RU IT.
Oranges and lemons are very
fine and the price hoc enough to
to bring them into every day use.
But the price on these goods will
be much higher in a short time.
MEAT MARKET.
Our Meat Markit, next door to
our (!rocery room, is always well
supplied with the choicest meats.
II e kill the best Beef, Mutton and
I cat that can be found; dressed
in first-class style and served to
customers in the neatest, cleaned
manner possible.
Groceries and Provisions.
No house in the Gi-ocery and
Provision business in Bellefonte is
prepared to supply all the wants of
the family so well as ice can do at
present.
