NEW GOODS
—FOR TIIK—
SPRING TRADE
We hate given very clone and
cart ful attention to the selection of
i goods for the Spring Trade, and
I feel justified in saying thai our
present Stock cant,at he, excelled
either in regard to Variety, (futili
ty or Price, aud ue doubt if it is
equaled tn e,ther of these respects
by any house in Centre county.
7 here are too many leading ar
tirles ii our stock to make sjteeiai
mention of them all, but rail atten
tion directly to a few items that are
nvtv being sought after cilery day.
FISH.
Mackerel are of good quality this
season awl are selling rather faster
than usual at this season of the
year. We hare been selling noth
ing but full weights—so lb*. 0 f fish
in each quarter barrel and 100 lb*.
in each half barrel. They have
better value for the money than
shoii wights.
Lake Herring and White Fish
are very fine this season and sell
ing freely.
MEATS.
Our Sugar-Cured Hams, Dried
Beef, Breakfast Bacon and Cheese
are all worthy of special mention.
F RU IT.
Oranges and Lemons are very
fine ana the price low enough to
to bring thctn into every day use.
But the price on these gc>o<{s will
he much higher in a short time.
MEAT MARKET.
Our Meat Market, next door to
our Grocery room, is always well
supplied with the choicest meats.
110 kill the. best Beef, Mutton and
1 eal that can be found; dressed
in first-class style and served to
customers in the neatest, cleanest
manner possible.
