Rules of Philadelphia County Prison
1. Yeu inut obey prempily til inilructien given te you, either by the tnpecter or Ofticcts el the Prison,
and be At til times respectful end coentou te them.
2. Yeu must keep your pcrten celt and furniture clean and in order.
li. Yeu must apply yourself industriously at whatever employment is assigned you.
4. Yeu must net communicate with your fellow prisoner in the adjoining cells, nor with the Runners.
G. Yeu must rftjt make any unnecessary ne'' eihf by higing, whistling, or in any ether manner.
ft. Yeu mutt net use profane or indecent language.
7. Yeu must net receive, or send out any tetter or package without permission.
5. Yeu must net write, make any marks, paste any picture, writing or printing upon the walls el the cell, nor
in any a ay deface or injure the property of the Prison.
P. Yeu must place all surplus feed and dirt in the vessel provided for that purpose and hand it out of the
cell when called for by the Keeper. Nothing must be thrown out of the window, detvnhe het air flue or toil pipe.

the offender will be returned te the cell and deprived of further exercise during his imprisonment.
