Walter Fritsch, vice president of the
St. Leuis Club, here te attend the
American League meeting. Fritsch
said that Williams, In his desire te
establish the home run record for the

Williams and "TUlle" Walker, of
the Athletics today are lending the
scramble in home run hitting, Walker
halnc hatted 21, while Williams has
poled 22.
