usually decent appear te be nnv tee

jet last night en mere than one occa ecca occa

Browns nrc going te get into the World

"We're going te win the pennant,"
predicted Sisler. "That is the feeling
I have and it Is shared by every mem

at present, but I am sure that when
the last dny of the season rolls nreund
you will find St. Leuis In first place

"We were two games in the lend when

"The schedule favors us and is going

ts the champions of the American
League. New Yerk will be forced te

all of whom arc new playing great ball,
while wp will be meeting much easier

Sisler thinks the seven pitchers
who are working regularly for the

"1 hope te lead the league in bnttlng

a season," said Geerge, in the course
of the Interview. "I haven't the
strength nor the savage swing of n

net up among the leaders in that end
of the game.
"I can place them better, going along
the wny I am. than if I steed nt the

have no designs en Babe Ruth's record.
If I had I would be forced te change
my batting style. That would make

"I use n bnt weighing forty-five

I choke off te meke my hits. A geed

te remain one. I always watch the

CISLEJt confided te us that he

The AliWeather Tread
Several years age, Goodyear engi
neers invented and patented the
Goodyear Hellew-Center Cushion
Tire for meter trucks.
It was made with a soft base and at
tached te the wheel by side flanges.
This was the first hollow-center
cushion truck tire of S. A. E. meas
urements. Later this tire was improved by at
taching te it a steel base, making it
a "pressed-en" tire.
Mere than 30,000 of these earlier
types have been used and have
established a unique reputation for
resilience and wear.
But these tires were smooth treads.
New the ultimate development has
been effected by cexabkdng the vir
tues of the Hellew-Center Cushion
Tire with the advantages of the
world-famous "Goodyear Ali
Weather Tread.
The result is the new Goodyear
All-Weather Tread Cushion Tire.
Loek at its outstanding features:
I .It has triple cushieningdue te the patented Good
year Hellew-Center, the famous Goodyear All-Weather
j. reaa, ana tne new Uoedyear Indented Sidewall.
tIt has the tractive might of the Goodyear All-Weather Tread.
3 It has a special Goodyear pressed-en base.
4-1 has the wearing strength of Goodyear stock and construction.

Aire is a true cushion tire, builr m mt k-

and it is resilient te the last mile.
It is a logical development of the Goodyear
