NOTE BOOK

Four te One Odds
Against Yeu
The chances are four te one you will contract
Pyorrhea after you pass the age of forty unless you
take proper precautions.
Thousands younger also suffer from this unpleasant
disorder of the mouth and gums.
Pyorrhea starts with tender, bleeding gums.
That Is the way Nature warns you of your danger. Heed
that warning!
If yen ignore it, you may pay the penalty by less of your
teeth and serious illness.
Pyorrhea works fast. It loosens the teeth in their sockets
until they fall out or must be pulled. It forms pus pockets
at the roots of the teeth and feeds disease germs into the
system.
Don't trifle with Pyorrhea.
At the first danger signal, see your dentist and start using
Ferhan's Fer the Gums.
Ferhan's, if used consistently and used in time, will prevent
Pyorrhea or check its course.
Itis the time-tested formula of R. J.Ferhan, D.D.S.
Use Ferhan's regularly as a dentifrice. It
keeps the teeth and gums in a clean, healthy ,
condition and wards off Pyorrhea.
Don't wait until tomorrow. Four out of
five contract Pyorrhea because they wait

REPEATS ITSELF
A Personal Message TO YOU Frem Mr. Koshland
Baa i SBBBBRBBBsa &a. BbbBmbY
t
In 1905 1 made a thorough investigation of the clothing situation in PhiladeU
pfda. I saw the necessity of a store WHERE MEN'S GOOD CLOTHING
should be' sold at low prices. Prier te that time no such store was in existence
the average retail clothier based his selling price en the policy of getting as
much as he could for his stock, and it was a case of "caveat empter1' LET THE
BUYER BEWARE. i
The result of my investigation was the opening of a Men's Clothing Establishment where
only GOOD CLOTHING was sold AT UNflEARD-OF LOW PRICES. My Policy of con
ducting business in this way fell like a bombshell amid the camps of the" old-time" clothiers.
All sorts of predictions were made, but I remained steadfast te my policy of giving the
people of Philadelphia REAL BARGAINS. I take pride in having estaftlislied a NEW
STANDARD in men's clothing VALUES.
All this is a matter of history. Since that year I have received the unqualified support of
the people of Philadelphia. I "blazed the trail" in putting the retail clothing industry en a
basis that had' never before been attempted. The "old-timer" tried te fellow suit, but the
HOUSE OF KOSHLAND was ever the pioneer in giving 100 cents VALUE for every dollar.
Today I Wish Again te Renew the Following Pledge te the People of Philadelphia
FIRST TO SELL ONLY GOOD CLOTHING tiiat I can personally guarantee.
SECOND--TO SELL ONLY GENUINE ALL-WOOL garment that I personally test in every detail
THIRD TO SELL ONLY CLOTHING made by the most reliable manufacturers in the country.
FOURTH TO SELL ONLY CLOTHING which for style and workmanship cannot be surpassed.
FIFTH TO SELL OUR STOCK AT ALL TIMES AT POSITIVELY THE LOWEST POSSIBLE PRICES.
MEN OF PHILADELPHIA Yeu ewe if te yourself in the in
terests of economy te SEE OUR CLOTHING before finally
making your purchase. In spite of anything that may be offered
elsewhere in the clothing line, the KOSHLAND STANDARD
OF VALUE is the standard by which all men's clothing is judged.
