good fraction. Cities Service common
moved up n point, while the Hankers'
shnree nnd prefcrroil ruled about un
changed. Anglo-American Oil was In
fair demand, within narrow limlta,
while decided prcbHtire continued in
Standard Oil of Indiana which, after
yielding 1, uiib8co.ueiitly recovered
fractionally. In the lower-priced issues
small changes were the rule.
In the miscellaneous group, Olen
Aldcn Coal was under excellent support
advancing 1 point. United Profit
Sharing wan a shade lower, Arknusas
Natural Gnu improved fractionally and
Aciuo Packing continued under pres
sure, yielding Cc to 11 new low from
which it Inter rallied. Sweets Com
pany of Amoricn and United State:
Steamship ahorcs were comparatively
iiuiet.
The mining stockB were only mod
erately active with intercut centered in
tho low-priced Issiich.
