Sumter and Labor:
A oontrait in methods,
IF we only could get the Sumter.method
applied to all building .materials, and
especially- to labor, house-building
would begin to boom at' once.
The Sumter method is to locate the
best-equipped mills" to furnish certain
required lots of lumber quickly and at lowest cost
This method keeps efficiency up .and cost down!
The Union labor method is to demand the
same pay for the poorest and slowest workman'
as for tho best and quickest. This keeps effici
ency down and cost and unemployment up.
Sumter says, Favor tjie beat. Labor says
Handicap the best: Which is right? '
When the world returns to sanity, you will
find our Sumter "concentration yard" in work
ing order, oiled up and ready to gve you advan
tages in buying lumber that.no sane business
mart will disregard.
Some day you'll build. If you want the work finished
on tlmo, sco that tho lumber comes from LLOYD.
