There was a pale pink 'silk, one
embroidered In blue, that was exquisite,
and the white ones, all embroidered in
white, too, vtcrc lovely. Then tho cross
titch linen, too. I am glad we will have
a chance to stock up on more next year,

I SAW Mrs. Gene Thayer in town
yesterday looking quite cool. She
really did. for she was wearing one
of those lovely dark-blue Swiss dotted-in-whito
frocks, and it had a straight
fall skirt and little cash and the open
neck wns edged with white. Her small,
dark-blue silk hat was fashioned of
grosgraln ribbon and was turned up
ill around the edge.
SPEAKING of Mrs. Thayer reminds
me of her sister-in-law. Molly
Thayer and all those other Philadel
