At Fifty eighth street and (llrard
avenue she was attacked bj the men,

man, according to Miss Good g state
ment today, searched her, while the
other man pinioned her arms to her
side. The pouch containing the no"J"'
was located and taken from her. The
white man struck Miss flood two heavy
blows ln the face. Then both men
ran down Fifty-eighth street.
Miss Good said she tried to divert
the search by giving her handbag, con
taining several dollars, to the white
man, when he demanded her money. The
cenrch immediately followed, for the
hold-up man sold to her: "I know
you ve rot a large amount ot money.

Tumley Coxe, a chief petty officer,

and Walnut streets, Ouofc denied know
ing that the car was stolen and said lie
