that Harry baa not been a bit well alnce
his return from the war and the doctor
has advised several months of complete
rtit. So naturally be wanted Anita to
be with him and they decided to be
married sooner than they had nt first in
tended. Anita Is the only daughter of
the Powell Evanses sho is a cousin of
Btssle Merchant, who married Tom
Humphreys several years ago, and the
Sanders twins, Eatello and Anita, are
also cousins,
Anita made her debut last year and
was one of the moat feted debutantes of
the season. Several balls were given in
her honor and any number of theatre
parties and dinners. She is very sweet
looking and should make a very pretty
brldo. She is rather small, has soft
light-brown hair and very lovely color
lug. She dances beautifully ; I remem
ber she won a cup at one of the contest
dances at the numerous charitable nf-
lairs held last year.

Town." You know the affair is to open
with an Introductory chorus coming in
front of the curtain to tell home of the
fine points In Molly Thayer's movie,
which is to follow. I hear that Charlie

ten the music for the occasion opcclally,
and Charlie Morgan Is teaching the
dancing. Alva Sergeant lends the dance,
which will Introduce "'Howdy Do?"
