American Hod Cross Commission for

on her way to Armenia as a member of
the near Kast relief.
She was in a group of seven workers
sniling in response to the nppenl of re
lief officials overseas for an accelera
tion of activities in the nenr Kast dur
in the coining winter, in order to. pre
vent a repetition of conditions that ex
isted last year, when thousands of na
tive Christians died from disease,
starvation and exposure.
