An eagle, from the -top of a high mountain, made

A crow, who had built her nest in a tree near the
foot of the rock, observing what had passed, darted
down and fixed her daw in the fleece of another
little lamb of the same flock, but being, unable to
either lift her prey or disentangle her feet, she was,
caught in a trap.
The shepherd came along and was told the
incident of the eagle which the crow had seen, and
,that she imagined herself; to be an eagle until she was
convinced that she was nothing but a jealous crow.
