THE death of Mr. Dale Benson marks
tho passing of another of the dis
tinguished old gentlemen one remembers
having seen an long as one can remem
ber, and fills the hearts of all who
knew him with regret. Mr. Benson was
a veteran of the Civil War and promi
nent in social and business circle). Ho
leaves a son and two daughters, R. Dale
Benson. Jr., Miss Bertha Benson nnd
Mrs. Maxwell Mcryweather, who was
Miss Mary E. Benson. His death will
be regretted by many.
