Serge, Satin and Tricotine Make
Lovely Autumn Dresses

All of the newest frocks show the longer lines that
seem to be the feature of the new season.
The satin dresses have a charming gracefulness,
accentuated by draperies, loose blouses, etc. Beading,
embroidery in silk or wool and combinations of the two are
used and the satin is in navy, black, brown or taupe.
Serge and tricotine lend themselves so kindly to the
tailor's hands that dresses this season are clean-cut and
smart. Here, too, beads are to be seen, but usually the
longer beads in sphinx coloring. Designs are excep
tionally pretty.

is of navy tricotine embroidered in wool. The body lining
is of silk and the dress is nicely made.
