time for would-be purchasers of needful'
articles to form an opinion of the proper
values of wearing apparel and other
articles under the present conditions of
insistence of their sellers and the
numerous pretexts given.
The advertisements, however, prove
the abundance of merchandise still on
hand that was probably overpriced at
the beginning of the season, or that
buyers have overbought themselves.
Not a few of us learn only by
experience.
