were almost upon them.

headway, and was sweeping through the
eaves of the building Just over the
heads of the sleeping-family. V.
The man who discovered th blazo
gave tho alarm, and then aroused mem
bers of the household.
Mrs. Goldstein's Bon, Morris, as
sisted his mother down the smoke-filled
stairway, and returned to the burning
building to aid his sisters, Lillian and
lionnle, to afety.
The ratisp of the fire Is not known.
