for several years after
every important war
the belligerent nations
have gone through a
period of high money
rates. Judging from
past experience in
vestors are missing a
golden opportunity if
they do not take ad
vantage of the pres
ent low prices of good
long term bonds,
thereby getting a
largo income which
will increase in value
and cannot be dupli

First Mortgage

On Atlanta Real Estate
There is no safer investment
than in "mother earth" es
pecially in Georgia.
Georgia laws protect the
lender on mortgage loans to
a greater degree than in any
other state.
A mortgage in Georgia is a
direct lien and comes ahead
of everything else except
taxes.
We never lend more than
50c of a conservative value
of the security and we
have never lost (in 29 years)
a penny for any client.

The outcome of the Pemooratle tin -tional

which again coneentrated attention very
largely in about the same familiar group

announcement of the comptroller of the
currency's cnll, eased the money market
I n little. Call loans opened at 1' per

the forthcoming report on the grain

, money market, of course, still continued
the dmnimmt iullueuce, although there
were a great many who were confident
in the belief of n materiul easing of con

the bunks relieved of the window

After some little lrregulnrity nt the

Trading in the local stocks continued
of tho same small dimensions, but the
tone of the murket was not only strong
but was nlso a decided improvement
compared with some of the recent dis

cases on the constructive side. The
mtstiiutfuK fenture of encouragement
was to be found in the complete absence
of the dribbling liquidation which for

Considering the unbroken restrictions
of tho money market it would be little

What little business there was on

The Nation's Greatest Asset
During tho World War the railrondsof our country,

end tho gigantic struggle
Today, with a much increased trafilc,. tho trans
