BIG CARGO OF COCOA
Drltlah Steamer Brings 63,883 Bags
From 8otith Africa
What is bclieyd to be the largest
cargo of cocon over brought to this
port has arrived on the British steamer
Hengueln from West Afrlcn. The ship
ment consists of no less than 03,883
bags of cocoa, of which all but 300 bags
are for local accounts. The rest is for
Canndian purchasers.
The Hcngucla took on this cargo nt
several West African ports. The larg
est proportion, 38,007 bugs, was taken
on board nt Accra, together with 000
bags of ginger. The second largest
nmount, 13.1'OS bags, were received nt
Ilumebnla. Of the remainder, 0242 bags
were taken on nt Salt I'ond,,and 0020
bags nt Secondee. In the vessel nlso
were 3000 tons of mnngnnesc ore. The
shipments are consigned to the Levind
Shipping Co.
