One of the real regrets of the cap
tain's present trip to this country is
that a full schedule for a brief stay
he returns to England the first week of
February will prevent his enjoying
any of the newest revues and roof gar
den shows and musical comedies at
present on diplav in New York. lie
frankly admits to liking them a lot.
. "They really capnot be surpassed,"
he declared "We have nothing like
them in London, and even Paris must
bow' to you over here We don't know
What a real musical show is. Produc
tion, lighting, costumes, everything

BELIEVED AMNESIA VICTIM
Woman Asks Police to Locate Her
Home Has Bankbook and Cash
Belieied to be a victim of amnesia,
an aged womau. who said she is Emma
Sterner, but who cannot recall where
the lives, is in the Nineteenth and Ox
ford streets police station.
The woman walked into the police
station last night and asked the house
sergeant to try and locate her home.
She was placed in care of a matron. It
was found she had a bank book hnu .
ing a balance of $7CS. She nlo had
?.r4 in cash.
The police communicated with the
bank and were told a depositor of that
name lived on Xorris street npnr
Eighteenth. A further investigation is
being made.

quaintance when he nrrested Frank
Sullivan, twenty-eight years old, Stan
ton street, Falls of Schuylkill, on bus
plcion of attempted larceny.

didn't I." asked MacAndrew, "when I
was an M. P. on the other side!" It
was nn u trifling charge.

and Charles Carr, North Thirty -fifth
street, all in Palls of Schuylkill, were

istrate Trice today nt the Twenty-second

station, charged with attempted lar
ceny. William Flynn, caretaker of n canoe
club known as Park lletrcat, on IUdgc
avenue near School Lane, testified that
he had coine upon the four In the club
house early yesterday, with various bits
of the club's and his possessions rendy
to carry away. The most valuable
article was a bottle of whisky, Flynn's
personal property.
