OPS WBTH LQNS AND GOOD RECORDS
a
i fi?
During recent weeks there have been sales of many standard bonds at sac
rifices in order to establish a record of losses for income tax purposes. Wo
were buyers of securities of this kind and the purchases accordingly enable
us to offer bonds of well-known high-grade Pennsylvania corporations at
attractive prices.
These have distinct' advantages.
1 . A good investment record of ten yeais or more. . ,
2. They nre on properties near at home, where conditions affect
ing them are well known.
3. ' They are not subject to the Pennsylvania State tax.
4. They are from 5 to 1 2 below normal prices.
We have acquired and offer for sale the following bonds that have the
above advantages: v ;
LEHIGH VALLEY TRANSIT CO. First Mortgago 5 Outstanding 14 years
EASTON CONSOLIDATED ELECTRIC 5s Outstanding 21 years
CITIZENS LIGHT, HEAT AND POWER CO. (Johnstown, Pa.) First Mortgago 5s

suit their individual requirements, with a range of interest yield from
.ibout 4 ji to nearly 8.
We shall be glad to send a copy of our January .General Bond Circular
and to make recommendations 'to those who have special investment

SOLID WOVEN BELTING
In every Gilmer plant, production is fa
cilitated by the most modern working con
ditions and equipment. Yet dfe demand for
Gilmer products has increased so rapidly that
even the completion of present extensive
additions will not suffice for the desired out
put. At the Tacony plant, -advantageously located
beside the Pennsylvania Railroad, new build
ings and equipment are now ready for use.
But further additions will be necessary imme
diately to care for the constant expansion of
the Gilmer business.
