This remark was made by a
man whom we never saw until
last Tuesday. He drove here
with an aggravated case of
motor trouble which three
different repair shops, he said,
had tried to fix.
We corrected the trouble and
delivered his car to him Fri
day in perfect condition, and
he was surprised at our rea
sonable charge.
Next time your car needs re
pairs save time and money
bring it here.
A heating plant you can depend
upon to deliver an abundant
supply of stimulating warmth
no matter how wind and cold
may speed the thermometer
downward ,
A good range that is equal to
the biggest dinner an oven
that makes baking a delight.
That if. how Novelty products
have been making Philadelphia's'
Christmas cheerful, snug and
comfortable for 72 successive
years.
A visit to our Factory Showroom will convince you
that we have turned those 72 years to good
advantage.'
Since we make all types of Heating and
Cooking Apparatus and in all sizes we
' can well afford to tell you frankly which
type and size is best suited to your par
ticular needs and purpose. Our advice
is unprejudiced. ,

Hotel Pennsylvania, In New York.
Manufacturers of sillt goods for
women nro finding that the prices they
hnvo to ask are beginning to swing
trade from their direction to makers of
fino cottons. This seems true in tho
petticoat trade and alo In silk under
wear. It was tho original' Intention of a
leading fuctor in tho woolen market to
price some goods for next fall the latter
part of this month. The announce
ment of prices and allotments, how
ever, will be put off for about another
mouth, it is now understood.
It is beginning to strike certain
manufacturers and buyers in tho cloth
ing trade that a good deal of the future
transactions arc merely "paper"
transactions. That Is to say, orders
nro written on paper, the profits the
buyers figure ,are "paper profits" and
the future is not so assured a success
as it might be If it was over.
