Prices at Low Levels
Various factors have combined to depress prices of bonds to a marked
degree, without, however, impairing the intrinsic value thereof. This
condition inevitably will correct itself, and herein lies the opportunity
for the investor of today.
Appreciation of the above fact actuated the bond house of
HARRIS, FORBES & CO., Boston
to take a full page of advertising exclusively in the
postou Cbentng transcript
of December G. to display the unusually comprehensive list of bonds
which is ovned by tho firm and which represented u reproduction of
its daily circular. The list embraced over 350 issues of a most diversi
fied character, comprising state, municipal, foreign government, rail
road and public utilities bonds.
Harris, Forbes & Co. is one of the largest distributing bond houses in
the country. The fact that this big bond house chose exclusively the
Transcript as the paper in which to make this offering is conclusive
evidence that it considers the Transcript the best paper in Boston
for bond advertising.
The Boston Evening Transcript publishes MORE high-grade
financial advertising than any other Boston paper. It docs not
accept nor solicit highly speculative or doubtful business.
